Ingredients
- 2 pcs white cabbage heads
- 2 pcs carrots
- 1 pc onion
- 500 ml tomato juice
- 1.5-2 l water
- Thyme
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Sweet paprika
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 2 pcs egg yolks
- 2 tbsp sour cream
Instructions
- First, clean and rinse the cabbage heads. I like to soak them in a large bowl filled with cold water and 2 tsp salt. Leave them in the bowl for 10 minutes
- Then, peel the carrots and the onion and grate them. I used a knife to cut them into pieces and grated them with the Thermomix for 5 SEC β SPEED 5
- Now, I cut sections of the cabbage heads with a knife and grated the cabbage using the CHOP program of the Thermomix for 6 SEC. You can simply use a vegetable mandoline to finely chop the cabbage heads
- Select the BROWN/ SAUTEE program of the Crockpot Express Multicooker for 10 minutes
- Once heated, pour the vegetable oil
- Add the grated onion and carrots and season them with salt, black pepper and sweet paprika. Mix occasionally
- After the 10 minutes, add the finely chopped cabbage and the tomato juice. Mix well
- Add water until you fill the pot and place a sprig of dried thyme on top
- Close the lid and cook the keto cabbage soup recipe using the Slow cooking program, on HIGH temperature, for 3 hours 30 minutes
