Before we talk about our honey mustard salmon recipe, let me tell you about what we do in our family. Our family loves fish. We especially like to eat salmon, trout or halibut. To have a balanced diet, we eat fish about 2 times a week.
The first step is to prepare the honey mustard marinade. For this, all you need to do is to mix all the ingredients for the marinade together, into a bowl, until you get a nice, creamy marinade. Leave the marinade aside and prepare the fish fillets.
Clean the fish with cold water and place the fillets on a plate. Using paper towels, absorb the excess water from the fish
Using your hands, check the fish fillets and make sure there are no bones left. If you find any bones, remove them using fish tweezers
Also, using a sharp knife, remove the skin from the fish
Clean the fish fillets with cold water once again, and absorb the excess water from it with paper towels
Once your fish is ready, place the fillets into a plastic bag that can be closed or sealed. Add the honey mustard marinade and close/seal the bag
Using your hands, move the pieces of fish through the marinade to completely cover the fish, inside the sealed bag.
Leave the fish for 0.5-2 hours in the refrigerator before you cook it on the grill or bake it in the oven.
After this time, cook the Salmon as you prefer, but I recommend you to try the BBQ Salmon, because it is juicy and delicious 😊
