Today, my purpose is to offer you a healthy tiramisu recipe which is a little different from the classic one: eggless tiramisu recipe.
I chose to make a classic dessert such as tiramisu in this way because no matter how delicious it is, the fact that raw egg yolks are used for the mascarpone cream bothers me pretty much.
So, in order to achieve an eggless tiramisu recipe, I replaced the classic tiramisu cream with a cream that contains white chocolate, which will harden at cold temperatures. Thus, the result will be a white chocolate tiramisu that will be delicious, healthy and most important, kid friendly.
The secret for the best eggless tiramisu recipe
As in most of the recipes presented on the blog, in this case too, the success for achieving the best eggless tiramisu recipe consists in choosing some quality ingredients.
In the case of white chocolate tiramisu, we will need, first of all, a quality white chocolate. In addition, the ingredients that form the basis of any tiramisu recipe, such as ladyfingers or mascarpone, are indispensable.
You will see, in the following, that without added sugar and without raw eggs, I will get a mascarpone and white chocolate cream that will make you lick your lips after every bite of this fabulous dessert.
In addition, since it is a kid friendly tiramisu, we will eliminate the coffee, and instead we will soak the ladyfingers in a mixture of carob and milk. Obviously, cocoa powder can be used instead of carob powder, without problems.

Healthy eggless tiramisu recipe
As I have mentioned to you on other occasions, in terms of preparing healthy recipes, I think it is important to avoid using raw eggs or raw meat. For the same reason, I presented you a kid friendly mayo recipe , which is made of thermally prepared eggs.
I always try not to use ingredients like raw eggs or raw meat, because I’m afraid of the (very small) possibility of being contaminated with Salmonella.
For this reason, I replaced the classic mascarpone cream with raw egg yolks, which is usually used in tiramisu, with a cream made from melted white chocolate, butter, mascarpone and cream.
If you don’t want to prepare white chocolate tiramisu, as I did, you can stick to the classic mascarpone cream, which you can cook using the bain-marie method, thus eliminating the risk of Salmonella contamination.
The bain-marie procedure can also be used to preserve canned food for long-term and you can learn more about this from the Food Preservation Methods article from the blog.
Kid friendly tiramisu recipe
Once again, in order to achieve kid friendly recipes with low sugar content, I used melted white chocolate for the mascarpone cream. Thus, there was no need to use sugar at all, because the sweet taste was given by the white chocolate.
In addition, as you well know, for the classic tiramisu recipe, coffee is used to soak the ladyfingers, and also to sprinkle on top of the final layer of mascarpone cream.
In this case, to achieve a kid friendly tiramisu, I used a mixture of milk with carob powder/cocoa powder, namely cocoa with milk, to soften the ladyfingers.
On top of the last layer of mascarpone cream, I sprinkled carob/cocoa powder and cinnamon, but also decorated with almond flakes, which were enjoyed by everyone in our family.
