Ingredients
  

  • 700 g Chicken tenders or chicken breast
  • 7-9 pcs Garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 150 gr Fat yogurt or Greek yogurt
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Sweet paprika
  • Oil for frying
  • Flour
  • 2-3 pcs Eggs (large)
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Optional: other spices that you enjoy

Instructions
 

  • First, you need to cut your chicken into strips. If you are using chicken breast, like I did, simply cut long and medium thin strips
  • Then, place the chicken into a bowl
  • Crush the garlic using a garlic press and place it into the bowl with the chicken
  • Add the rest of the ingredients for the marinade (yogurt, mustard, olive oil, spices) into the bowl with the chicken
  • Mix them well, until the chicken strips are completely covered with marinade

  • Close the bowl with a lid or transfer the coated chicken with marinade into a freezer bag
  • Leave it to rest into the refrigerator for minimum 3 HOURS before cooking
  • When you want to cook the pan fried chicken tenders, prepare 3 bowls/ soup plates as following: one with flour, one with egg wash (by beating the eggs with salt and black pepper) and one with breadcrumbs
  • Pour a generous amount of oil into a pan and preheat it
  • Take each chicken strip and coat it with flour
  • Then, soak it into egg wash
  • In the end, coat it with breadcrumbs
  • Then, pan fry each strip of coated chicken for approx. 3 minutes on each side
  • Repeat this process, following this order, for all the chicken strips
  • Take out the pan fried chicken tenders and place them on a large plate covered with paper towels, to absorb excessive oil
  • Enjoy the pan fried chicken tenders with a potato-based side dish, a fresh salad or simply dipping them into ketchup.
